Why is COVID-19 still spreading?

The number of people in the United States infected with the coronavirus continues to climb.

The average number of new cases in the US has risen to 7,000.

Meanwhile, the number of cases that have been officially reported in the U.S. has dwindled to around 2,600. 

The latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that on Tuesday, a total of 16,000 Americans had died of the virus. 

As a result, the total number of infections in the country is now around 9,700, according to the latest data.

The number of deaths from COVID has also risen sharply since January.

On Tuesday, the death toll was at 5,611.

On Monday, the tally was at 4,737.

The CDC has warned that the number could rise further, with more people dying of COVID from the virus in the coming days.
