Google has announced a major outage map for its Maps service, which is used by millions of users.
The outage map, published by Google, will allow users to see how much data is being used for various activities including: browsing the web, downloading files, viewing YouTube videos and so on.
Google Maps is not the only mapping service affected by the outage.
Several major websites including The New York Times, CNN and Microsoft also suffered downtime.
Earlier this week, the US Department of Energy announced a $6.5 billion investment in the power grid.
